Police wiretapped Niko Belic's phone to record a sample of Niko's voice. Using that voice sample, they lured Patrick McReary into a trap by making him think he was going to a show with Niko. He was surrounded by police and, after being tased, was brought to the local jail for processing. He is a lead suspect in numerous violent crimes, including the robbery of the Bank of Liberty, which resulted in many officer deaths.
