In response to the rise of speed related accidents and fatalities on Union Drive East between Ruby Street and Obsidian Street, the New Liberty State Police along with the LCPD responded by establishing a speed trap this morning to crack down on speeders and aggressive drivers.
On Monday, October 23, the NLSP cited six drivers for speeding and charged three people with eluding police. One woman, aged in her 70s, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a firearm with a large capacity magazine, both felonies.
