How do you create an .awc file

Featured Replies

I have stupidly deleted my weapons.awc file and now have no sounds for my weapons. I have all the wav files in a folder on my desktop but I am unable to put them back in  my OpenIV weapon sounds without them being an awc. Please help.

Firstly i'd say make sure you do everything in the mods folder.

Export weapons.awc as openformats and you drag all the sounds into the weapons folder then redrag the oac back into the area where weapons.awc is located.

My suggestion would be download GTA 5 realistic gun sounds and let the OIV install everything for you. (Into mods folder)

If you were in the mods folder you could go back to the non-mods folder and grab the original AWC at x64/audio/sfx/Resident.rpf since when working in the mods folder the original game files are untouched.
