Hello everyone,

 

I keep having the situation that I cannot load the GTA V story mode / LSPDFR anymore.

It doesn't continue after saying "Loaded plugin LSPDFR". It just stays on screen, endless loading. Waited 10 minutes, nothing happened. Afterwards I tried uninstalling and re-installing LSPDFR, and then RAGE didn't even show the rage loading screen anymore.
I then reinstalled the whole game, reinstalled RAGE and LSPDFR. The problem still exists: it doesn't continue loading. It worked fine for a week or more before that. The console via F4 still works. Anybody got an idea what may be at fault?

I've only been using LSPDFR and Traffic Policer.

Added that the console works.

Have you try to launch RAGE without loading LSPD FR and then, load manually the plugin?

Tried that just now, that didn't work either, sadly. Thanks for the suggestion though!

What's the ouput of that ? Does the game crash? Infinite load ?

If you share the RagePluginHook.log after tried the suggestion above would be easier ! 😄

Infinite loading. I've found that there's ELS files in there too, so I guess that'd count as installed, too.
Mods are: LSPDFR Plugin, Traffic Policer, ELS.

Attached the log file after doing as you suggested.
Edit: tried to load the plugin via the console. It showed Loaded Plugin "LSPDFR".

Traffic Policer could be the problem. Remove step by step anything that LCPDFR don't need to works.
I don't really know if it will works and I don't have that much knowledge about bugs related to LCPDFR. I hope this one advice works otherwise I don't know, sorry !

I've removed that and ELS now. The issue still persists.

And I've also tried to start the game normally (via playGTAV.exe) but that didn't load the story mode either.

It's really weird and I've run out of ideas, especially since I already reinstalled the game from a clean copy.

 

I've tried to unload and load the LSPDFR plugin in the loading screen but nothing happens. (The "Loaded Plugin Generated Code..." message appared when I told the game to spawn a vehicle, just to see what may change or happen.)

 

Someone on the official discord server told me to install Windows completely new. I am not going to do that.

You problem might be located here. If you can't launch your game by Steam or R* launcher, so nothing will works.

PS2: I agree with you about the idea of resetting Windows.

Turns out, the server is only sem-official and for the RAGE Plugin Hook.

 

ALSO! I fixed it by removing the save-game-files from Documents.

 

Which of course makes you lose all progress in your story. It's really a pity. But now LSPDFR works again!

Gonna make a backup of sorts of the new files. Just to be sure.

And it stopped working again. Played LSPDFR after reaching the ability to play as Michael, did so for a few hours. Exited the game.

Tried to play it again yesterday, and the issue of story mode loading infinitely is back again.

I (again) have no idea at all about what's causing this.

Did you tried again to delete your savegame and relaunch a new game?
