lcpdfr straight desktop crash

Featured Replies

I've been having this problem for a while, when simply going ingame, activating LCPDFR, going to my character selection, sometimes i get to the car selection and then a straight crash to the desktop, no errors no nothing.

Today i did a clean install, updated my game, saved on the 2nd mission and went out of game to install lcpdfr. Installed it and went ingame, at first LCPDFR was not responding to its corresponding keys so i reinstalled. After that i was able to activate lcpdfr and went ingame to play a possible game, numerous times i crashed to the desktop at various parts through the lcpdfr process. Sometimes if i get a error report i am able to alt+tab ignore the error and continue playing, however recently its just been a straight crash to the desktop.

Even without activating LCPDFR and just running around the city it still crashes to the desktop, i had no problems with 0.95Beta or RC1 but only with RC2-R2, i also had no problems using the xliveless.dll to play, but this doesnt allow me to play online. The instant i put in dsound.dll and take out xlive it starts up with these problems.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Found a temporary fix by alt+tabbing, waiting for a error report to come up, ignoring it and going back in.
