[Help] Albo1125 Tutorial Part 3

Hi Everyone, about a week ago I asked if there was anyone who could give me some pointers as to where to find tutorials so that I could start learning how to make some plugins for LSPDFR. No one sent me a message so I decided to do a lot of digging and found some great information! Still anyone who has anything to offer in guidance is always appreciated 🙂

With that said, I decided to take on Albo1125's: Ped and Vehicle Spawn Tutorial. I have everything working, but not exactly the way Albo1125 has said it should work. So the Ped spawns, enters his patrol vehicle, drives towards me, exits the vehicle, but instead of running to attack me, the Ped takes off and runs in the opposite direction of my character.

RogueCop Objectives:

  • (1) Player Inputs A Key Press
  • (2) Ped And Vehicle Spawn
  • (3) Ped Gets Into The Vehicle, Drives A Vehicle Toward The Player, And Leaves Vehicle
  • (4) Ped Arms Themselves And Tries To Kill The Player

When I type up a plugin I like to make lots of notes and region out sections, so the attachment should be easy to follow:

  • The problem has to be within the following line in the code, or maybe I am missing a statement somewhere to stop the Ped from fleeing. I am so confused because I did this tutorial twice and both times the same result; I am thinking something changed with 'Tasks.FightAgainst(Game.LocalPlayer.Character)'
RogueCop.Tasks.FightAgainst(Game.LocalPlayer.Character); // RogueCop Is Now An Aggressor Toward The Player

[Troubleshoot Update]

I added the following line below the 'Tasks.FightAgainst' line...

This line makes the cop exit the vehicle and point his gun at my player character:

 RogueCop.Tasks.AimWeaponAt(Game.LocalPlayer.Character, 10000);

This line really doesn't seem to do anything at all:

RogueCop.Tasks.FightAgainst(Game.LocalPlayer.Character); // RogueCop Is Now An Aggressor Toward The Player
