Adding Extra Police Vehicles to appear as backup in code 3

I know how to get Add on vehicles in my garage in addition with the vehicles i already have (like Police1, Police2, Police3, etc.) but i don't know the process of having them also appear with the units when calling in for back up like code 3. Does anyone have any feedback or process for me to make this happen.
