Got the new launcher but I can't get the game to start, keep getting the error 7002.1 app already running, i'll exit out of steam and try fresh still error, tried checking the game integrity and still nothing, anyone else having this problem or have a solution?

I FOUND A WAY

REINSTALL GTAV THROUGH THE NWE LAUNCHER

THIS SHOULD CREATE A GRAND THEFT AUTO FOLDER IN THE CHOSEN DIRECTORY

LET IT DOWNLOAD FOR 30 SECONDS

DELETE ALL THE DATA WITH IN THE FOLDER, KEEP THE FOLDER LABELLED GRAND THEFT AUTO 

MOVE THE ORIGINAL FILES TO THAT FOLDER 

AND RUN 

THIS IS THE NEW EXECUTABLE PATH

I have 133 error and 7002.1 this is something in launcher when pc is offline can't run GTA work only if onnline

So literally move my steam directory into the new directory RGL has created?

Hey whats up guys I know this is somewhat of a old forum post but my friend just encountered this problem after reinstalling grand theft auto and what you wanna try is

 

1) In windows 10 start menu click Settings

2) System

3) Sound

4) Scroll down to Advanced sound options

5) At the top make sure your output has the correct device selected.  If you use voicemeter for example you will have to make that the default, not speakers.

 

Sometimes after a windows 10 update it will randomly disable a speaker device or microphone device and you have to either re-select the speaker device, or give application permission to a microphone.

Why should your game not start because of sound settings?

HI, i find a solution. It's windows defender, so i went to windows settings / security / security windows / open security windows / open protect to virus and threat / protection history / autorize rockstar game launcher 

And here we go, i can launch and play with my rockstar account to gta or red dead
