Issues with downloaded ELS and replacement vehicles!

Hey guys,

I am having issues installing replacement vehicles via OpenIV, every time I install them the default GTA V police vehicles still spawn. If anybody could have a look at my files, I have discord or via screenshot I am willing to pay you (American Dollars) if you can help me! Thanks so much!

Hi Koala,

Are you installing the vehicles into the correct folders? Also, make sure to put the vehicle xml files into the pack_default folder inside of your ELS folder.

Go to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday__\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\ and install the vehicle files there.

For the patchday__, use the latest patchday which is currently patchday21 🙂

Zen I'm trying to relearn how to install car mods and I followed you Patch day info and when I go to search like Sheriff in OpenIV under patchday21 there is no emergency vehicles even under this patch day How to you determine where each car name is for different mods?
