Hello everyone! 

 

I'm having a very iritating issue so I'm going to get straight to the point.

As I wrote in the title my Rage Plugin Hook won't launch. When I double click on it .exe nothing happens. But on the other hand when I try to launch GTA V from PlayGTAV.exe game loads up and I can freely play. Also it's strange because on 31st of August I was playing normally with RPH but now on 3rd of September I can't do nothing with RPH and I didn't even download anything. 

 

Just to let You know I've dissabled antivirus (only windows defender working in the background), unchecked "read only", run as administrator, moved LSPDFR plugis from plugins folder to somewhere else and downloaded RPH again. Any suggestions?

Hi Juan,

 

Try loading into the game first, and then launching RPH.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Unfortunately I've done that already. Started the game, even loaded it and went out of Franklin's house and when I try to launch RPH.exe nothing happens. 

Do you use RivaTuner if so disable that and it will run

Right click your .exe file and go to properties. Make sure it's not being blocked. If you run it, does it appear in Task Manager?

I've heard about it but tbh I don't know what does it mean. When I run RPH it dosen't appear anywhere in my Task Manager. 

Make sure your antivirus isn’t blocking it. It happened to me randomly my antivirus determined it was a Trojan and blocked it. Once I allowed it, it worked.

But it's strange because I'm only using Malwerbytes (scanning when I need it so it's not working in the background) and Windows Defender so there is no antivirus to block it. Or maybe it's Windows Defender but it has never happen to me since I'm using Windows 10

 I recently updated to the most recent lspdfr,  every time i start rage it just hangs at the loading screen.  i looked into the security and my windows security is flagging RAGE as a severe threat and being blocked.  Any ideas on how to get passed this. I tried turning it off and still get hung up on the loading screen for longer than 5 minutes, it does not crash though. If you have any suggestions.  Thanks

Windows defender is what did it to me. Like I said it randomly blocked it as a Trojan. I would double check that windows defender isn’t blocking it.

I had this happen before. For me the problem was I didn’t have ragenativeui installed. Once I put that in it worked.

Well, I don't know how but You sir was kinda right! I've had RageNativeUI in my GTA V folder BUT I've downloaded it again and changeg file...and it's working now! If something gets broken again then I will write it here again but for now my GTA is working just fine so thank You very much!

Yeah same thing happened to me. I had it but for whatever reason the game didn’t pick up on it. The other issue I had after that was. Some of my plugins in messed up so I just had to drag and drop their files in again. 

I fixed the issue, I shut off all my windows defender stuff before started Rage Plugin Hook. Thanks for the feedback.  Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.
