The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Rage Plugin Hook isn't working. At all.

Featured Replies

When I click on the .exe file to run Rage Plugin Hook, nothing happens. There's a slight loading animation for my cursor, but that's it, it doesn't even show up in Task Manager. I've tried:

-Reinstalling the .NET framework

-Reinstalling the redistributable packages

-Reinstalling Rage Plugin Hook

-Reinstalling LSPDFR

-Disabling my anti-virus/windows firewall

-Many other things

I have no idea what's caused this, it was working literally yesterday just fine.

Here attached is an image of my GTA 5 main folderdesktop.thumb.PNG.ae137e6272db81709cbd8f831deea6e6.PNG

I know this doesn't help, so I apologize in advance.

I'm having this problem too, so maybe my experience might shed more light.

This happened to me after I got everything set up and running. No issues at all. I then stopped playing the game for the day, played another game, then moved on to sleep. Next day, I wake up, and try to run RageHook. Next thing I know, I get a little loading circle next to my mouse, then nothing happens. Process shows up in the service tab in the task manager for 15 seconds and vanishes.

I reinstalled EVERYTHING, to my happiness it worked again! Figured it was a stray file or config I messed up by mistake. Everything was working fine with no conflicts for the rest of the day. Then I go play something else for a while, watch a movie, then I come back to play GTA again, and Ragehook returns to the same issue as before.

Very frustrating because it's difficult to find any mention of it, and when it is, either it's solved with no real elaboration on the issue, or the thread goes dead.

Lame.

Welp, I'll eat my words.

Guess it was easier to figure this out that I thought. Some other forum posts reference this kind of issue and it made sense. Essentially windows security blocks the application after a while without giving you a notification. For me it's solved the issue, for now.
