RPH says game is an old verison

Featured Replies

Hello,

I had to do a fresh install and RPH is saying the game is an old verizon, However when I open steam and OPENIV it says my game is up to date... any ideas how to fix this or do I need to do another complete install?

Can you screenshot the error message RPH is giving? Don't want to accidentally give incorrect advice.

I can try yes. It just says

game edition not supported. It says my game is version 1604 and the RPH is for 1737. I was using 1737 before I had to do the install.

Yea, so your game needs to update. If steam/social club don't have an available update for you, delete GTA5.exe and verify your files. Deleting GTA5.exe kind of tricks the system into updating the old game files.

For Steam you can use this guide, you can skip the restart step. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335

For Social Club you can use this guide https://support.rockstargames.com/articles/115014280127/Verifying-system-files-on-your-PC-for-GTAV

Thank you,

Now my newest road block is in OPENIV. None of the patch days are showing up. Therefore I cannot mod my cars... Any idea on this?
