Good afternoon everybody,

Yesterday, I done a fresh install of GTA V on the latest update, 1.0.1737. after installing my callouts, cars etc. I went to launch the game and noticed it kept crashing to desktop.

AFter a bit of messing around I discovered it was scripthookV causing the crashes, removed it and my GTAV (without Rage) wrks fine however with Rage, it can't hook onto the game.

In the spoiler are links to screenshots of my Main folder, plugins folder , and plugins/lspdfr folder, hope these can help in a way.

Is there any work around for this to get SCripthookV working?

Same problem.

Same problem, when i remove scripthookv.dll and dinput8.dll from the gta v directory then it no longer crashes but then everything that relies on scripthook doesnt work. Has anyone got a fix or a clue? Maybe if it isnt scripthook itself then it might be the nativetrainer or another scripthook script?

Hiya all, I'm currently going through installing all the mods one by one and checking, I'll let you know when I have finished what is causing it for me and any workarounds I find 🙂

i just was going to recommend that, installing one by one is the way to go, BTW which plugin is creating the folder updatemanager?

Any updates? Since the crash seems to be related to scripthook, maybe start with scripts that directly require scripthook like els and such.

 

UPDATE: I think i found the solution for myself, I deleted AdvancedhookV.asi from my game directory and everything seems to work now.

Update

Re-download your LSPDFR file so it goes with the new 1737 update. This worked for me.
