Potential LSPDFR 'crash to desktop' fix?

Featured Replies

Hi thanks for reading,

*DISCLAIMER* This may or may not work for you, This works for me but I cannot garuantee your gta 5 + LSPDFR will work.

*DISCLAIMER 2* This method requires you to reinstall ALL your LSPDFR mods.

I just got LSPDFR working after doing some experimental stuff with files and other stuff.

So how did I do it?

Steam version

1. Go to your GTA 5 folder

2. Uninstall LSPDFR via the .exe it comes with

3. delete everything in the GTA 5 folder EXCEPT -> ALL .rpf files AND ALL folders     *PLEASE READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THIS CORRECTLY YOU MIGHT HAVE TO REDOWNLOAD GTA 5*

4. Verify Integrity of GTA 5

Optional: Let it redownload the new update if needed

5. Install LSPDFR from the site.

6. download Rage Plugin Hook from the official site     <- *Downloading the Rage Plugin Hook from the official site fixed to issue for me*

7. Copy and paste all files from Rage Plugin Hook to your gta 5 folder and allow everything to change if it asks you to

Optional: Install other addons you had for LSPDFR      *With the new gta 5 update 1 or 2 LSPDFR addons might have broken so keep that in mind*

4. Download the GTA 5 downloader via Social Club

5. Start the installation for GTA 5 and click REPAIR once you are able to

6. Finish the 'installation'

7. Install LSPDFR from the site

8. download Rage Plugin Hook from the official site     <- *Downloading the Rage Plugin Hook from the official site fixed to issue for me*

*Disclaimer reminder* This worked for me and I cannot garuantee that the game works for you after this, the best you can do is try if all other methods failed for you

I hope this helped atleast one of you

Kind Regards

Gamestop is a store right? that depends were you activated gta 5. that will be either via steam or socialclub

Strange thing, but same problem was solved after installing old version of RAGE Plugin (0.57 or smth close to). I think new one may be really unstable.

Works for me - maybe will help someone else?
