Delaware Background

From a small group of motorcycle highway patrolmen, the Delaware State Police has evolved into a comprehensive, full service law enforcement agency of over 600 troopers. Since its inception in 1923, the Delaware State Police has enjoyed a longstanding tradition of providing the citizens of Delaware with excellent police protection and service.

The main vehicle of choice for all police municipalities in Delaware has become the 2018 FPIU, and the second most common being the 2016 Chevy Tahoe, and lastly 2011 Crown vics.

Some departments like NCCPD, NPD have also adopted a 2015 Chevy Silverado.
