Upgrading between 4.2 builds

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm new to LSPDFR so the previous build was my introduction to the whole thing. I had installed that build and subsequently quite a lot of plugins, (which all work fine except for the occasional hiccup) but have no experience in updating to new builds.

I would like to update from the last build (41589 from 16th June) to the newest one (build 7110  from 20th June). Both are 4.2 so presumably some fairly minor changes.

My question is: do I need to do the same as I did for the original install and copy every file and folder over again? Or can I get away with only replacing a handful of files instead? I would like to minimise the chance of having to reinstall all of my plugins and configurations after the update if at all possible (since I think some might've overwritten the base LSPDFR files, and would obviously be overwritten themselves if I were to overwrite all with the newest LSPDFR build).

Thanks for any info/assistance you can provide.

I would recommend doing the same as you did before when installing 0.4.1.

Just a manual install, copy every file from LSPDR 0.4.2 zip file into GTA V Main directory.

Make sure you don't drag the licenses folder into the GTA V main directory.
