Please Help with carcols and carvariations for addon vehicle

Hello, I have successfully made an addon car that works with LSPDFR, however I want the upgrades which are on the normal civilian version to be on the new addon car. The car in question is the scarab. I have done it before with the Sabre Turbo, it worked perfectly and every customisation option could be put on the cop car, but I don't know how I did that xD! Can someone please help!

I've managed to work out I can do it just fine with default cars (cars released close ish to launch) but cars from updates... don't work! arghh please help xD
