How do you deal with keybinds overlapping between GTAV and LSPDFR commands or just being inconveniently located on the keyboard?

 

For example, because the left mouse button is initiates a melee attack when no weapon is in hand, I often end up punching the suspect or random passersby when I am trying to use left mouse button to activate a LSPDFR menu selection.  The other issue I continue to have is that sometimes an LSPDFR menu selection requires that I press the "return" key, but that is set to get into a vehicle.  I may be able to change the key I use to get into a vehicle, but  I cannot rebind the left mouse button from initiating a melee attack.  How can this be resolved?
