I have installed the new LSPDFR 0.4 with a few callout plugins that are compatible with 0.4. I have a few mods installed as well which were all correctly installed. When i load the game i can play LSPDFR as normal, responding to calls, pursuits etc. Then at a complete random moment without warning the entire game crashes and shuts down. Sometimes its after 10 minutes and other times i can play for over an hour. But it always crashes. I've tried taking the plugins out but it still happens. I have no idea what's causing it.

 

Can someone please have a look at my log and see if you can spot the problem.

Do you call for prisoner transport and car towing pretty close to each other, per chance?

 

I have found that I get way less crashes when I take my time and let the tow truck finish up and drive away, and then call for prisoner transport. This is just an example for me.

I don't call for a tow truck. I don't have Arrest manager plugin installed. I call for prisoner pick up and try to take my time with things but the game always crashes. Any ideas??

I have trouble with the game crashing at random moments as well. I think it's just LSPDFR 0.4 not being that stable yet. It just recently came out, after all. 

 

What plugins do you have installed?

UK Callouts

United Callouts

Traffic Policer

 

All correctly installed along with the audio files. All the latest versions compatible with 0.4. They run fine in the game and i can complete callouts. I've tried the game without them and it still crashes.

As far as I can tell there are a lot of people struggling with crashes after the last update. I wish I could help you figuring the problem out.

No worries thanks... hopefully it'll be fixed soon. One other question. Do you know how to change the police peds in 0.4. It can't seem to do it?

I have no experience with that, sorry.

 

Have you tried putting GTA 5 on high priority? I have started doing that, and I think I have fewer crashes because of it. Worth a try?

That sounds like a good idea. Can you talk me through how to do that?

You can try it this way: Ctrl + shift + esc > Details > right click on GTA 5 and set priority to high and GTA5 Launcher to low.

 

 

Or you can download this https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/gta-v-high-priority-launcher which is what I am currently using. It kills all the unnecessary processes in the background while playing GTA.

Hi I cleared by Memory and tried both the hardcore and soft versions. The game still crashes, if anything its started crashing more!! I really don't understand why its crashing so often

And it's just crashed again. This time after only 5 minutes and when performing a traffic stop. I can't see anything obvious in the crash log.
