Scripthook problem

Featured Replies

Before I get into my problem, I will state that I.. 'tried' GTAIV before buying it. Had it for a day or so, looked into mods for it, and modded the hell out of it. week later i bought it, wiped the pirated version and installed the new one off Steam. Put my mods back in, installed LCPDFR and ELS, and the game wouldn't load my save. Went and grabbed xLiveless and put it back in, save loads fine. But now my game crashes after about 20 minutes of playing. Just says "GTA has had an error" and its dead. I removed ALL(except xLiveless) mods and it ran fine. Put scripthook and ELS back in, crashes after 20 minutes. Removed ELS, leaving only xLiveless and Scripthook(and its related files) in the folder. Boom, crashes after 20 minutes. So it IS scripthook. Whats causing my game to crash? I know with modding games you greatly increase your chance to crash, I'm not new to modding games, but almost exactly 20 minutes every single time I play? Could it be xLiveless causing the problem? Something else? Maybe a fresh install of Scripthook will help?

So, where's the diagnostics log? Also, I'd suggest getting rid of all your mods and the files such as scripthook, xliveless etc... Then re-install them back along with LCPDFR.

Removed all of my mods, reinstalled LCPDFR(obviously a fresh copy of scripthook) and it seems to be working fine. If it happens again I'll upload a dlog.
