Could someone please redirect me to a proper list of controls/keys? I did a search, but all links came up dead.

Really, that bump was un-necessary, it wasn't long after your first post. And i take that as a doublepost. In the future, edit your posts. And the controls are in the .ini file at the scripts folder when you install the mod.

Thank You! And sorry, but five hours is a pretty long time when you're sitting in a game unable to learn how to play. Honestly, I run multiple boards, and Warning someone (especially someone new to the board) for such a minor "infraction" is just plain rude.

Oh well. I do apologise, if i seemed to be rude, but that was not my intention. And, i really wouldn't say that five hours hours is that long time. Althought it might feel like it while playing the mod, not knowing all the keys. But, more like day or two and it would be better to bump. Just a little more patience. But well, you should have read the guidelines. And if you did, you should atleast follow them."Bumping posts is also considered spam."

Alright, I have a little more difficult and confusing question in regards to the keys/controls. Only about 4 or 5 of the controls listed in the script file are working proper. On top of that, it seems as though when playing LCPDFR, the controls are being mixed with other controls - for example, when I ask for back up or medical response - the game spawns random vehicles. When I try and change the ELS light system, it slows the car down or makes it go super fast. When I pull a person over, I need a numpad to perform the responses - however I'm on my laptop without a numpad. When I use the alt/ctrl function it spawns random things such as people/vehicle that continues to attack me. So as you get the point, most of the LCPD keys do not perform their function as well as the controls/keys are performing one or more tasks. PLEASE HELP! Can anyone figure this out. All patches for GTAIV applied, using V6 of LCPDFR and all .NET frame, and such updated as per guidelines in forum.

Also, when I try to do custom mapping, the keys change on the map, however soon as I exit it, they return to default - I've tried to change them in game and at the main menu. The police computer will not load either when in police vehicle.

You have to disable the trainer keys. You can do it by opening the trainer with F3 then you'll get to the options page 1 and look for "disable trainer keys" or something similiar. In the scripts folder, there is a file named as "FirstResponse.ini", you have to open that. And there is all of the controls listed. And since the OP seems to have no more problems, i'm closing this topic.
