How do I type anything in the rage menu when once I press F4 all it does is bring up a NativeTrainer and I am unable to "Force Duty" and I am incapable of interacting with the police stations to go on duty. Any help?

Are you opening it through the rage application in your gta 5 directory

Yes. Rage launches the game like this....  I know this isn't right but I do not know how to fix it.

Also I do not get any notifications saying LSPDFR has sucessfully been launched

 

I am having the same issue. I have been working on this for like 2 weeks. The first problem I had was I could not get the game to update to the latest version 1604. I tried all sorts of tricks, verify installation, removing MOD folders...nothing worked. I eventually did a complete new install through STEAM. I copied that folder (before I made any changes whatsoever) and then I renamed the folder to "Grand Theft Auto V" - so this way if I needed to start over, I didn't have to wait for STEAM to reinstall the game. I just deleted the current GTA V folder, copied the folder with the fresh install and renamed it. I have done this much about 19 times.  Then I install LSPDFR, and run the game...no other mods or plugins. It seems to install right, and even says in the RPH settings menu that it will load the LSPDFR plugin. But when I run RPH.exe, it does not load the LSPDFR plugin. Usually it shows the LSPDFR plugin and a few others loading over the image of the chick in the bikini (Lindesy Lohan?...we'll never know) Instead it just loads the game like normal and then I am a regular dude with no LSPDFR capabilities. I cannot hit F4 to see the interaction menu to go on duty or anything. Instead, F4 shows the trainer menu. I have tried over and over to get this to load, but not successfully. I am currently using the newest version of GTA V and RPH (screenshot)

Go to your rage settings go to game setting then click on command line switches check force windowed mode and borderless windows
