Alright, hopefully this will be the last issue that I need help on for a while. I am currently having an issue where my added sheriff vehicles, will not successfully initiate a stop on another car. I can blip them, but they will not pull over. I added slots for a sheriff3, sheriff4 and sheriff5. The added sheriff3 works fine, no issues there. The sheriff 5, which is a cvpi model, has texture issues and I am assuming is just because I am trying to load too many textures; however my sheriff4 shows up, and functions properly, at least from a model standpoint. I followed Giordano's guide to adding slots, with the exception of the gameconfig file, because that file does is for the old GTA version. I created the metas for both vehicle, which include the proper flags for emergency vehicle and such, as well as, a carvariation for both. My trafficcontrol is set to false for my ELS.ini. I am just finding it hard to figure out where exactly I went wrong. I am not using NVR, I am using RadianceV. Would anyone have any suggestions to check? I can provide any additional info if necessary.

The texture issue that I am having with the CVPI is similar to the issue described in this post:

 

The model loads, but the skin appears to not load properly. Unfortunatley I do not have a screenshot at the moment to upload. I doubt it has to do with too many added vehicles.  More than likely, you've done something incorrectly. Make sure the vehicle names in the vehicles.meta, carvariations and the .ytd are all correct.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take a look once I get home from work today, and see if there's something that I've overlooked somewhere along the way.

Well I was able to finally figure out what was causing both of my issues. I decided to go line by line and take a really close look at everything. Embrassingly, one of the first things I discovered was that I forgot the, “I”, in sheriff5.ytd (sherff5.ytd). I just didn’t notice it because it didn’t jump out that it was missing when I looked at it before. That resolved the texture issue  with the CVPI.

 

I was still left with issue of both my sheriff4 and sheriff5 cars not being able to pull anyone over. Well this appeared to happen because somehow I missed, “<Item>“, to start one of the original lines, but again it was buried in the lines and I didn’t see it until I went through line by line. Well now everything seems to be operating normal. I share this as hopefully if anyone else runs in to a similar issue, they can find usefulness in my story of not paying attention to detail, and are able to resolve their issue the same way.
