computer or graphics card

hey guy's need to know something. when i play gta iv after about 30 to 45 min's my graphics start showing like the roads will be like a sheet of gray with car's running on it and the building will look messed up. i have a gtx 560 2gb ddr 5 memory graphics card do you think the problem is in it? the card is about 10 weeks old or could it be the computer getting to hot? i thought about byeing some kind of cooler for my prosser. can some one help? thank's

I've never heard of this...this happened to me once, but it fixed itself after I reset my computer. It may be that the graphics card is overheating or the whole computer is. It really depends on where your cooling unit focuses on.

I'm not sure where you would find that. I know I can tell when my setup starts to run at higher temps, it runs harder/louder, performance begins to slowly slip. My guess for core temp would be where your list of all the things for your PC are.

HWMonitor from CPUID -> http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html. should show you anything you would ever want to know about temps. I had the same problem too... I reduced my graphics and anti-aliasing. I also turned on ECC in my BIOS seemed to help me keep my mem down and it also reduced NULL pointer errors.
