hello when i start up my game it gets about half way threw loading up and crashes can anybody help me fix it i have no clue what is happening.

GTA 5 had some minor updates few days ago causing script hook v to no longer be the correct version, if you're using steam you can revert your game with ELS and still use everything as nothing ever happened, however if you didn't your kinda out of luck, it's a unknown ETA when the script hook v will be updated.

If you didn't back up your game prior, you will not be able to revert.

how am i able to play the game then with out reverting it because i was able to play it this morning and then when i downloaded some stuff it stopped working

After you were done successfully playing, did your game update?

no it updated the day before im pretty sure

This would indicate something you downloaded is causing the problem.  What did you install?

i installed a couple of things like a different tank model and i think a couple of callouts but i cant remember everything specifically

Rename your mods folder to _mods

 

now try loading in.

in my openiv or my  gta directory?

Its the same thing. Renaming one will rename the other as far as I'm aware.

It working means something in your mods folder is causing the problem.  Did you update your game with the GTA update that came out recently?
