Greetings community,

 

im quite new in the GTA 5 scene and I've regonized a modification called "LSPDFR". So I decided to download it, since it looked like fun to me. I downloaded it, extracted everything etc. The installation quide tells me to verify the installation. I have to check if i have a the LSPDFR folder with a Police Scanner folder inside, a Plugins folder with LSPD First Response.dll inside and the 

• RAGEPluginHook.exe. I checked everything and I have all the things in my GTA folder, so I decided to start the game, like the guide tells me, since the installation was successful. Launched the RAGEPluginHook.exe and nothing happend. Still the same single player.

Do I have to write something special in F4? I saw someone typing "ForceDuty", but when I type it, nothing happens.

Make sure to grab the newest version of reagehook plugin, the one included in the LSPDFR installer is not up to date. Didn't mention if you've done this already so just wanted to make sure.

 

Have you gone into the options when launching ragehookplugin by clicking the little gear symbol and then the Plugins tab, make sure LSPD First Response is set to load on startup, or if you don't want it to load on startup, you can open the console once the game is loaded and type ReloadAllPlugins. (there may be another way but this works for me). Once you know the plugin is actually loaded up, you should see police stations marked on your map, you can go there to go on duty, or as you mentioned, in the console you can just type ForceDuty.

I already had the newest version of the ragehook plugin. Your way, with the "ReloadAllPlugins" is good. Will use it in the future, thanks.

 

There are still some open questions for me.

 

#1: How do I get the police uniform? I'm playing with Michael and I know he has his own one from the single player, but not the uniform every cop has.

#2: When I accept an emergency call, is it normal, that every cop reacts and trys to kill the suspect?

#3: How does everything work in general Lol

Kewl, glad it is working for you 🙂 If you want a police uniform, you have a couple options I know of off the top of my head. You can either go to a police station to go on duty, instead of doing the ForceDuty. This will allow you to pick a new police character, as well as a police vehicle. I use the EUP mod and created my own character and put one of the police uniforms from the mod on, which IMO look better. I'll throw ya some links:

I am going to say it is NOT normal for all the cops to show up and try to kill the suspect.... at least this doesn't happen for me. I, however, also have never played with just vanilla LSPDFR so it could be one of my addon plugins that make things work better.... Maybe try LSPDFR +

As for your 3rd question, I can only recommend just playing and learning. Can't really go over EVERYTHING here lol. Basics are just playing the role of the police officer lol drive around, pull people over, respond to calls, ect.

Yes and No. There are a whole bunch of extra addon plugins that work with LSPDFR to give more things to do. Callout mods are great, they give a much larger variety to the things you can respond to, some you have to go talk to people and do a little investigating and eventually lead to a suspect. Sometimes you get someone smuggling drugs and they'll be tossing drugs during the car chase, and you've gotta retrace steps and actually find the packages for evidence. Have a look through the plugins for download here on this site, lots of good stuff. Just be careful, test your game after each plugin you throw in to make sure nothing breaks the game, and if something doesn't work you can get rid of it easily. Also LSPDFR itself is still being updated and things are being added so the base mod itself will be a whole lot better with the next major update.
