[ELS] Issues - GTA 5 LSPDFR

Featured Replies

Hey guys! I just picked up a gaming computer a couple weeks ago.

When I was looking to purchase one, I knew that I was going to want to mod GTA 5.

I am having issues with ELS. I believe I have everything set up correctly. It worked perfectly prior to my game updating, and once the game updated, it kept crashing when I tried to launch it. I recently had to downgrade my game back to 1493 because scripthook wouldn't work in the newly updated version. ScriptHook, the GTAV game itself, Rage, and all the other plugins are up to date.

So basically I am having issues with the lighting/siren. I tried pressing CTRL+P to open the panel, and it just pauses the game. I try hitting P again, nothing comes up. I can only activate the siren by pressing the default key binding (which I have set as 1). The lights do not work correctly either (meaning at all - none of the ELS lights work). There are only some lights that are lighting up solid, and only the brake light flashers work.

I attached a photo of the truck in game (saved in the sheriff slot) and also a copy of my directory folder.

Hopefully someone can help. Thanks guys, happy modding!

I don't really understand what your problem here is, lets begin with the CTRL+P issue this is just because P pauses the game and opens the map screen. and for downgrading, you said you downgraded to 1493 but this is the latest version there is and scripthook V is already updated for this version. And for the ELS problem, do you mean your lights aren't bright enough? If so, download a mod that makes them brighter

I had 1493 installed (July 28th) but my game updated on either the 1st or the 2nd. So Scripthook was not working properly. The game would not launch without having a critical error. I was told that CTRL+P is what should open the ELS controller. And the screenshot of that vehicle, that's the position the lights stay in all the time when it's running, regardless of the lights/siren being activated. The lights do not flash at all. The only lights that do are the tail lights.
