Machine gun fire air horn

Featured Replies

For a while now my air horns have been sounding like machine gun fire or broken glass hitting the ground. I tried downloading other people's files and it doesn't fix it, how do I fix this?

In a minute. I tried changing the MHZ and whatnot on audacity but it didn't do anything. I'm making an FDNY air horn real quick and if this doesn't work I'll post one .

Oh your making one, i'm trying to make my own CVPI engine sound, very annoying actually, starting to sound like it's farting lol i've been told that editing audio files for IV is difficult.

It's just the air horn I'm having the problem with. I'm actually using the original game one, but for some reason it won't work. One minute, making the vid.

Here it is.

It's the exact same file the game comes with.

The original siren sound is 48,000MHZ, is it anymore? or any less then that? i've imported WAV's that are 18,000MHZ when they are supposed to be 48,000MHZ, sounds like complete ass, literally... when importing the WAV, make sure it's the same MHZ.

It changed around a bit, I think I tried that already but I'll try again.

I must have overlooked it, that was it. Thanks.
