RPH and DirectX

Featured Replies

When going on duty, it loads in and then freezes my camera movement and doesn't allow me to drive, turn on ELS lights and pretty much anything else. I can only hit left bumper on my controller to bring up the search on the police computer and then turn my takedown lights on and off. It shows a message that says something about a textbox being displayed on screen and RPH having an issue with DirectX or something similar. I have a crash report. Upon crashing, Rage said that the issue is something with LSPDFR itself. Any help is much appreciated.

I also made sure to load the settings for Rage and check that DirectX 11 is checked and that DirectX wasn't disabled.

I took a screenshot of the folder contents. If you need to see a specific .ini, let me know. I really appreciate your help.

I figured out the problem. The message I was getting was somewhat irrelevant to the actual issue. I had to go into windowed to see the text box to setup Police Smart Radio. The crashes I was getting were from a missing voice file that was somehow deleted. It was one of the dispatch voice files for when you first get a callout, so if it was a callout that used that file, it crashed the game. Just needed to reinstall LSPDFR to get the file back. Thank you so much for all the help here. I've been watching LSPDFR for a while but only very recently got a computer and started playing it. Once again, I very much appreciate your help on this, it got me pointed in the right direction.
