Changing base color

Featured Replies

Hi, I am looking for some help with a vehicle I installed. I installed a charger and 2016 FPIU. the Charger is police4 slot and FPIU is police2. The issue I'm running into is the base color for the vehicles are supposed to be grey. The problem is the FPIU is white shown here:  https://imgur.com/a/ijcbd2a

The only reason the charger is grey is because of the old police4 vehicle that was installed had different color liveries, and the new vehicle inherited those. I looked in the vehicles.meta file and I'm not sure what I should be looking for, as most the info matches just looking for guidance on this without modifying the ytd. This is the vehicle pack I installed directly from.

The only reason vehicles inherit a previous vehicle's color is if you didn't completely remove the old vehicle, or used custom settings.  Did you make any meta or carvar changes?

I did not make any changes to metas or carvar, and I installed the new vehicles just by replacing the old files with the new. That being said the vehicle is intended to be grey from what I am seeing, and I've re-installed the vehicle and it doesn't make a difference.

Try adding a new carvariation line, and use the one from this topic -
