Controller bindings

Featured Replies

I am using an xbox one after glow prismatic wired controller and I was wondering what would be the best bindings to use my plugins. The plugins I have are ALPR +, Arrest Manager, bait car, computer +, lojack, Police search, speed radar lite, spikestripbackup, StopThePed, traffic control, traffic police and traffic stopbackup.

Attach is the layout of the controller and I want to get some opinions on which buttons should be my bindings so not every plugin is using the same button. What buttons would your bindings be? and what would it be typed out as when choosing that button to be in that place you want

There really isn't a "best binding", it always comes down to personal preference and what buttons you want for this or that. There's always going to be button interference, even on keyboard.  On keyboard it's more manageable, but on a controller with limited buttons?  Good luck not having a keybind interference. I keep most of my keybinds on keyboard for convenience.  The only keybinds on controller I have are for ELS, I'd much rather not deal with the random things caused by another plugin while in a pursuit.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

Yeah you are probably right. I'm thinking what I could is have the ELS, backup for pursuits and police radio on controller (those buttons I can fix) then everything else on the keyboard. I just very recently installed LSPDFR so I'm still working out the kinks on what would be good for me

I'd recommend editing the control files within OpenIV, removing anything used for RRight. (B button on Xbox) as well as RDown (A Button on Xbox) and RLeft (X button on Xbox), as well as all of the Dpad. You can then use XPadder to set X+B as modifiers for ELS and Radio for pursuits. I have tried many different configs, even deleted all of the bound keys for controller apart from movement, Screen rotation and enter/exit vehicle and tried to use all other buttons for either modifier and LSPDFR binds. However, LSPDFR does use A for starting/ canceling pulling someone over which cannot be changed. I wish there was an option to configure LSPDFR controller configs, or at least turn off the controller binds.
