GTA V RPH not working after recent update.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I recently updated my GTA and waited for the new Scripthook version to be released. I updated both and now RPH will not load. I was initially getting an error for script hook, but that seems to have gone now as I reinstalled it. However, now I can load the game up, but it is an infinite loading screen on the RPH. It gets to 'Populating game world' and then ive left it for literally 1 hour and nothing!

Please can anyone help?

Are you using a mods folder?  If so, rename it to _mods

Now try.

This means that you've done something incorrectly when installing either the cars, or some metas.  I'd start reverting all changes you've made regarding vehicles.

But all my cars worked fine before the update? How would I revert all changes what I have made to cars?

Thanks for the help

After the game updated, did you update the update.rpf in the mods folder?

How do i update the update.rpf

Go into the mods folder and delete update.rpf.  Yes, this will remove any mods you have in this folder.

Next, go into the vanilla update.rpf and click "edit mode".  You should be prompted to create this path in the mods folder.  Now it's up to date.

Great, thanks.

So Will i have lost all my vehicle mods etc after doing this?

Yes, it unfortunately is part of every update.  However, if you follow the instructions in this topic, you won't have to worry about it.
