I love all the mods but it is irritating me that i cannot buy even a soda during the play :)

And when hurt i either have to die, go back to station or to look for health pack at the hospital. 

Is it possible to keep cash found on callout untill end of the "shift"?

as you say, you do not use a trainer! install one, then all the problems you have called history!
caracter change, cars appear, invulnerable, supers jumps, infinite ammo, weather customization and so much more is possible with a trainer!

Per the money portion of it, no you cannot.  I think because you're using a custom character and the game doesn't recognize it.  Even if you give yourself millions, you still can't purchase anything from the stores.  At that point, roleplaying it works best.
