Sirens doesn't work

Featured Replies

I am new to installing police vehicle mods and decided to install one yesterday. I decided to install the sheriff k-9 pack. However, i can't get the sirens and light to turn on, i pressed almost every button possible including the default 'e' as well as j or k. I figured that maybe it needed some other system, so i installed an ELS mod. No idea if this vehicle supports ELS but anyhow, it didn't work as well. I'm still a newbie and have no idea what to do next. I'd appreciate a help!

Yes, Gump's K9 pack does support ELS.  So you did install the ELS mod, right?

Yes I did, I installed another Dodge charger vehicle yesterday, and it worked perfectly. No idea why this one doesn't.

Did you also install the VCF that came with the car?  It would've been an XML file with the exact same name as the vehicle files you installed from the download.

The VCF needs to be the exact same name as the car, and has to be in the pack_default folder.

Ah, all along this was the problem. I didn't paste the XML file in the pack_default folder. Thanks a lot for the help and quick response Kallus! I greatly appreciate it.
