Just got back into LSPDFR and downloaded the essential mods cause i dont want too much stuff in there just to keep it simple anyway im obviously using ELS and I did grab visual V and Better Visuals to get my lights to look good because lets be honest who doesnt like bright pretty lights. My issue is at night my lights are pretty bright to the point that they glare and its hard to even look at my screen at times, so what suggestions for visual mods or in game settings should i be using to get that crisp clean bright look.

You can try a different visual mod, but this would also work.

In OpenIV, go to mods-->update-->update-->common-->data.  Extract "visualsettings.dat" to your desktop.  Now open it and look for "car.defaultlight".  You will find two options, a day and night.  For night, change to 1500.00

Now save.  In OpenIV, click "edit mode", drag and drop the edited visualsettings, then click edit mode again.  All you need to do is go in game and verify if that's better.

Note: 1500.00 is what I use, and it works fine for me.

Yes, because OIV installers, as you're aware, automatically install and overwrite.  Since you manually placed visualsettings after, that file will stay and be fine.

Good luck!
