Have you made any changes recently? Added anything?

Nope. I haven't touched GTA for the last year. Got interested in playing again and came here to update the LSPDFR. Did just that and it doesn't run.

Since you haven't touched GTA in a year, is it safe to assume all you've done is update GTA when it needed it?

Yep. That's literally it. Everything is up to date

You need to update the update.rpf in the mods folder.  You can do this by deleting the update.rpf in the mods folder and re-adding it the same way you did before.  Do realize, once your game is properly up to date, you'll need to update all your mods, including Rage and LSPDFR plugins.

Problem solved. A few days ago, I just kept trying to start Rage and it finally worked. I have a ton of mods now (scripts and vehicle packs) and the game is running super smooth. NO CRASHES for literally hours upon hours of playing. Thanks guys
