The game is completely broken [RESOLVED]

Featured Replies

My game is completely broken, and it's happened suddenly! I've done everything I can think of and taken support ideas from other threads but nothing has worked. The crash occurs when I spawn in a vehicle (whether modded or not) and the game just freezes then pops up with RPH's "GTA has crashed" window. I have no clue what to do at this point, because I've even verified file integrity. I really don't want to have to reinstall but I feel as though it's beginning to be my only option..

From your log

[11/02/2018 13:21:16.216] Command line option -enableCounterMeasuresAgainstOnlineVehicleRemoval is specified; enabling counter measures against removal of online vehicles in singleplayer.

Give this a try

Go into your RPH config Console | Advanced Settings Tab | Uncheck the box next to

Click on Save and Launch and see if it fixes your issues.

Try deleting Simple Trainer files and reinstall it. I've noticed there have been quite a few updates over the past few weeks. They are up to version 7.2 now

Unfortunately, this did not work either. I added to this solution by completely reinstalling ScriptHook and ScriptHookVDotNet and it still hasn't worked :(

Sorry for the delayed responses. RL happens. Go back to when your game didn't crash. Did you add anything new? Try this, go into your Main GTAV Folder and temporarily rename your mods folder to _mods , then launch RPH and see what happens.

Also, post an update RPH log with your next response along with any screenshots of errors you're receiving.

I installed loads of vehicles, but it did work with those vehicles installed and I could use them. The next time I launched, without adding anything, it started crashing. Also, no worries about the delayed response, I understand, just grateful in the first place.

Either way, I tried the _mods thing and still crashed. I didn't get a ScriptHook error this time but I still get the default RPH crash message.

I'm not really seeing much in your log file which points to what is causing your crash and that is kinda odd. Try this, launch GTAV via Steam (not RPH) When the game fully loads, tab out of the game and launch RPH. Also, is your GTAV Folder added to your Anti Virus exceptions list? Just want to be sure its not being blocked and I kinda doubt it is because it sounds like this worked fine for you before. Usually when I get crashes I go back to what I installed last and remove it, but that doesn't seem to be the case if you said you just added cars and they worked.

I did what you said and it didn't really wok, but then I had an idea of my own:
I noclipped to the station and the vehicles were showing up! I got into a Crown VIc but then the game crashed. I tried again but this time got into a Tahoe and the game didn't crash, it instead gave me an error message about Gears.asi. It shut down the plugin and then for that session, every vehicle was working!! I have now removed Gears.asi and the game works once more. Thank you very much!
