GTA V bodyguard trainer

Featured Replies

Hi, thanks for taking the time to read this. Will someone please for goodness sake make a trainer or modification where you can spawn a bodyguard that will follow you in a car? I would really like this. The only mod that did this was the Bodyguard Squads mod and it is outdated and I just got GTA V. Please comment below if interested, thanks  so much

The bodyguard AI in trainers is pretty trash, but if you use Simple Trainer, and set the bodyguard task to "look at player", they will get in the car and drive with you.  This isn't foolproof, as sometimes they will still glitch out.  Another alernative is Darkmyre's police partner mod.  The AI will get in a car with you and stay there until you get out.

@Kallus Yeah. I've been playing GTA IV for a year or less and its trainer was/is crappy. I was hoping for something better in SNT (simple trainer or simple native trainer) in GTA v, but no. It's the same trash rehashed. Don't get me wrong loved what it could do and the design. I couldn't live without the trainer but as far as what I'm trying to do currently with bodyguards, it sucks. I'm talking about a convoy of three squads or more. Not just being driven around.

If you're primarily looking for smart AI that will drive/follow you, I'm sorry to say but there's nothing like that and I doubt there will be. LSPS does have something similar to what you're wanting, but along the lines of multi SWAT group convoys with AI drivers?  Maybe you can talk to the guy who developed LSPS and see if it's something he'd consider.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But I put it in requests for a reason I put in the requests section.

@Kallus I wonder if there is a way to downgrade gta v to the version id need for bodyguard squads to work. Do you know what version of GTA V it worked on?

Unfortunately there's no way to downgrade GTA, assuming you have no backups of your game.

The Bodyguard Squads mod isn't broke! All you have to do is update the Native.UI (by putting the latest update of the native UI.dll on the GTA forms site in your scripts folder) and update ScriptHookV dot net.
