I have figured out that many people are having the same problem as me. When GTA IV is started an error message says GTA IV has stopped working. I think the problem is that on windows 7 64 bit computers c+++ 86 is not compatible. Does anyone know how to make C++++ compat or a way around this problem. Thanks.

    I have the same problem except that I have Windows Vista and it's not compatibility but DEP to prevent and even this is not off and I can work around it. Give yourself: technical assistance and support for Windows and find it in the helper (sorry for bad English)

    found the problem lol. When I was trying to fix GTA I reinstalled the game and forgot to reinstall the 1.0.0.7 patch. Works fine now just a lil choppy. Have a high end graphics card. Someone told me to just turn the settings down
