Vehicle Skins Disappearing After Being Changed

Featured Replies

Hello, last night I replaced the skin on BxBugs' CVPI, following a YouTube tutorial. After doing so, the car simply doesn't spawn in-game. Literally nothing appears. My more pressing concern however, is after changing the skins on 3 cars from BradM's SA State Trooper pack, when I first spawn the car, the skin appears for a fraction of a second, then reverts back to the original skin. On all 3 cars. All models spawned after the initial model don't even show the new skin for a fraction of a second, they just spawn with the old skin. I've tried going into Simple Trainer and changing the livery that way, but it just flips between the two liveries that come with the original model. I checked the .ytd file to see if it had overwritten the new skins, but they're still there, having replaced the old ones.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm not sure about the vehicle skins disappearing, but the vehicles not spawning is a problem with the texture.  I've had this happen a few times, no tsure what causes it.  Try reverting back to the original ytd or texture.

Thanks for the help. Tried reinstalling the skin and it worked. To fix them disappearing I had to place the files in the +hi.ytd files too.
