Installed ELS (XML are in the pack_default folder), added ELS cars (NZ police cars), replaced sirens with NZ police sirens and all was good for around four or five launches of the game.

Now the lights are barely visible on the cars and the flashing blue and red is visible everywhere when being chased (even when theres no police car in sight) Even had the flashing in the subway.

 

Not sure what happened. The last car I replaced was a non ELS police car so I put the default back. The next one I have not tried reverting is the 2014 CHP BMW 2100RT bike which I added so I could skin it with the NZ police skin.

 

Tried adding Radiance V but all that did was make the lights a little brighter when using or standing right next to a police car.

 

If any ELS guru could help I'd be grateful.

Well after a lot of mucking around I narrowed it down to one model that was not displaying bright lights. 

The model "New Zealand Police 2013 Holden VF Commodore SS Highway Patrol" by Donnzy for some unknown reason, only has dimmed light bars on the cars with the red highway patrol markings. As the same model is used for the marking DDS files, it's beyond me why it happens.

 

Only way I could have all cars with bright bars, was to use his car "2017 Holden VF Commodore Series 2 SV6 - NZ POLICE HIGHWAY PATROL" for the police3 slot.

I'm also using it in the sheriff slot (it's original located slot) and it's all working OK.

 

There's only one vehicle left in the game that I'd like to change. That's the police transporter (slot policet ). If anyone can point me to a good NZ replacement I'd be grateful (if there is one)

Never mind about the NZ skinned police transport. I learned to do it myself. Still need's a bit of work but suits me for now.
