Hi guys, 

 

I have installed GTA V by steam and have modded the folder using the instructions provided by installing the files from LSPDFR into the main directory and then over writing the old RAGE files with the latest version files.

when loading rage for the first time it goes through the checks as normal and I click save and run it loads the game screen up and says "loading story mode by RAGE" in the bottom right of the screen but after 10 secs or so it crashes and comes up with 2 windows one the main GTA V screen asking me to re try in safe mode and also a sceen that says RAGE crashed and gives me the option to create a bug report

 

I have tried a few things to see if I can work out the issue but have ran out of ideas, I can load the game up using RAGE if I haven't got the LSPDFR installed and it works fine but as soon as I mod It with LSPDFR then install the new RAGE it just crashes the game on loading 

 

any ideas would be great

Hi Simon,

 

Are you able to launch the game via the GTA V.exe/Steam and load into the game?

yep ive tried to then go onto my desktop and load the RAGE after loading into the game but then crashes straight away

Where abouts are you in the GTA story?

just after the main start of the story when you first get left to roam

Can you please attach your RagePluginHook text document? It's in the main GTA directory.
