The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Crashes After 1 Use!

Featured Replies

So, I recently started playing LSPDFR. However, I've come across a very irritating issue. So, I'll download the mod and then Ragehook, then I'll play it just fine. But, when I exit is when the problem occurs. I can load it up once and play perfectly fine. Then when I'm done, I exit with no issue (via going to escape, moving to game tab, and going to exit from there). But, from that point on, anytime I try to reopen Ragehook and play LSPDFR, as soon as the GTA V window opens, it crashes. The only way I've found to be able to play again is uninstalling LSPDFR, Ragehook, and even the GTA game from my computer, reinstalling all of them, and then it loads up fine again. So basically, I can play LSPDFR once, and after I've closed the game, when I want to load it back up, I have to remove/uninstall everything in the GTA V folder (including the game), re-install GTA V through Steam to my PC, re-download and install the LSPDFR and RageHook files, and then I can play. Deleting and reinstalling these takes a very long time and I don't want to have to wait an hour and a half from the time I want to play to when I can actually play because of this issue. I should be able to download the LSPDFR and Ragehook files, run the program and have it work, and then after I close and reopen it, have it work fine again. Can anyone help me with this. I can provide any more information you need.

More Information:

  • I have a PS4 and PC version of GTA V. I play Online and Story on my PS4 and only use my PC edition for the LSPDFR mod. I mention this to deter any thought that me playing the game vanilla might have any affect.
  • I installed Ragehook and LSPDFR in the right folders.
  • I have no extra mods or plugins I use with LSPDFR. LSPDFR and Ragehook are the only things I've ever added to the game folder. If this problem is fixed, I intend to download car reskins, more callouts, etc., but at this time, only clean LSPDFR and Ragehook have been installed.
  • What I said had to be done is exactly what must be done. Just deleting the LSPDFR (through the uninstall program) and Ragehook files does not work. Those and the GTA V game must all be removed.
  • Any other things you need to know such as a copy of a crash report can be requested and given.

Do you have the Windows 10 "Game Mode" feature on?

If you load GTA V normally, without RPH, and press Windows + G to open the game bar, then click Settings, you can turn Game Mode off.

Hopefully then RPH will be able to interact correctly with GTA V, if this is the issue.

As you might guess, I make PeterUCallouts. I love working to bring LSPDFR players the kind of callouts that strike a good balance between realism and fun and are stable & varied!

Unfortunately I cannot offer support via PM -- please use the forums, so that others may benefit from your solutions!

That does not help...
