How to add extra emergency vehicles using the ELS mod?

Hi, I was wondering how to add extra police vehicles using the ELS mod. Looking down at the change log you can see it states "ADDED ADDITIONAL VEHICLE SLOTS: 'EMERG8' TO 'EMERG20'." Now does this mean I need to go into the handling.dat,  vehicles.ide, cargrp.dat, and carcols.dat and add the physical lines of code?

    Yes, exactly. With ELS cars, you will also need to add data into ELS' _SLOTCONTROL file.
