All of a sudden, the AI drivers in my game will no longer yield to my lights and sirens. Before, I would be on the highway or the road, I remember they always used to dramatically pull over and yield. In addition, whenever I use my manual/air horn siren behind any vehicle (blipped or not) they just floor it until they hit something (they used to just pull out of the way). Lastly, I've noticed the AI police cars never have their lights/siren on  when they are involved in random pursuits, responding, backup, etc. even though they used to. I noticed this started happening about two weeks ago.

 

Yes, I have read that setting the "ElsTrafCtrlOn = true" to "ElsTrafCtrlOn = false" should work but the AI vehicles still wont pull over for me when blipped for a traffic stop and the lights on AI police still won't work. I have reinstalled ELS and my VCF's and nothing has changed.

Setting ELSTrafCTRL to false will fix the AI driving off like mad.  However, if they are not pulling over for your siren, the vehicle you're using doesn't have the proper law enforcement flags.  This could be caused by a few things.

 

1)  In the vehicles.meta, this vehicle does not have FLAG_LAW_ENFORCEMENT or FLAG_EMERGENCY_SERVICE

 

2) You do not have a carvariations line for the vehicle.

3)  In the carvariations, sirensetting is set to 0.  It should at least be on 1.

Ahhhhh found it! It appears the carcols file I had previously installed (trying out a new pack) was a source. In addition, two of my cars had sirensettings set on '0'.  I have disabled traffic control on ELS too and everything is finally back to normal!

hey i have encountered the same problem @Reddington when i open up els i see my police ambulance and another police is set to WARNING idk what that is supposed to mean
