ELS Only working on certain vehicle

Featured Replies

Hello, ive installed els 1.5 and 2 vehicle models. The first replaced the FBI slot. This vehicles ELS works fine. I also installed a model in Police3, but els does not work at all in this model. Not even the info panel will work. Only E to turn on the regular old siren works in this vehicle. The police3 did not come with an ini for els, but to my knowledge it doesnt matter if it doesnt have one.

Thanks any help.

It does matter.  The VCF XML is required for ELS vehicles.  If it didn't come with one, it sounds like it isn't an ELS vehicle.  Now, if you really like this car and still want to use it, I can give you an ELS VCF that will work for the car, you just won't have the same functionality.  All you'll have is the basic lights and siren.

Ok, so its basically a stock xml? I would appreciate that.

No, it's an XML that was modified to work for non-ELS vehicles.  Just rename the XML to whatever slot your vehicle is in. :)

VCF for non ELS.xml

Ok thanks. Another quick question... I'm having problems with ComputerPlus mod. When I go in it, the cursor wont go on the left side of the screen, so I cant even leave the screen.

That I'm not sure of, as I've never experienced that issue.  However, if you can move it around everywhere except the left side, it might be an issue with screen resolution.
