GTA5 Redownloading After Attempting To Launch LSPDFR

Hello everybody. I'm new here, so I hope I am in the correct place. First of all, I have the Social Club version of GTA5. I was having issues with getting Rage to work, but I finally got it figured out. Now my issue is that Rage will attempt to launch the game, it says "Launching" or whatever it normally says. Then it will say "Launching is taking longer than usual." It will then bring up the Social Club login and when I log in it starts a download, which I assume is a redownloading of the game,  from roughly 18GB out of 55GB. Highly frustrating considering my internet where I live isnt the best, and it already took me a day and half to download the game initially. Did I do something wrong when I placed the updated version of rage in the GTA5 folder? Any help is appreciated!
