Loosing textures

Featured Replies

I play the game for about a minute textures just start unloading. I set it higher on the task manager and it delays it a little but not by much. My laptop handles vanilla GTA5 perfectly with no problems.

So does anyone know what could cause this ( I have a lot of mods). Any help would be appreciated.20170927181709_1.thumb.jpg.e3366d788990016e51760355b2636004.jpg

This generally means your computer doesn't have enough power to manage the game's demands.  My advice is to either remove all of the non essential mods and see how things handle, or remove all your mods except LSPDFR, see what happens, and if there's no texture loss, slowly readd mods until you reach what your computer can handle.

would it be mainly scripts or visual/vehicle mods?

It could be all of them.  Unfortunately, I cannot say with certainty what would be the most taxing, but I'd assume it would be graphics mods depending on your settings.  One thing you could try is renaming your mods folder to _mods and going in game to see if you still lose textures.  You might need to play the game for a little while just to get things going.

yeah without the mods folder it's fine so i guess it's other mods. Thanks for the help.
