So ive formated my pc 2 times, reinstalled the game like 90 times..

 

Dosnt matter how hard i try, the ELS wont work. People say i should press ctrl +p to get the menu up, but that dosnt fix it. 

 

I'm following every step closely and still, nothing.

Do you have ScriptHookV?  Do you have advancedhookv.dll in the main directory?

I got it to work, my other problem is now this

 

I want my light pattern to go directly to the last one , when i press the "J" button.. I dont want to cycle through them all everytime i press it, how do i change this? I will love you forever if you tell me

I'm actually not sure if you can choose a specific pattern to always start with.  Maybe I missed it, but I've read over the ELS user docs a few times and haven't seen anything about this.  One thing you could try, and I have no idea if this will work, if you're using a trainer like Simple Trainer, you can save your vehicle so that if you customized the car at all, or just want a faster way to get it, you can go into the trainer's menu and have it right there.

ALRIGH thanks so much. I'm gonna enjoy playing. Do you got any tips to stop a vehicle in pursuit? i heard there was a mod that you can request pit manovures.

Police Radio (the old version) did allow you to request PITs, but I have no idea if Police Smart Radio does.  One mod that I use and have fallen in love with is Pursuit Deterrence.  If the pursuit starts to last too long, you can use this and it has a chance of making the suspects stop fleeing and give up.

by the last pattern do you mean the last one used or the last numbered one?

 

if its the latter then just open the .xml file for that car in the els folder and make these edits:

        <PresetPatterns>
            <Lstg2 Enabled="false" Pattern="0" />
            <Lstg3 Enabled="false" Pattern="0" />
        </PresetPatterns>

 

change that to 

        <PresetPatterns>
            <Lstg2 Enabled="true" Pattern="put the pattern # here" />
            <Lstg3 Enabled="true" Pattern="put the pattern # here" />
        </PresetPatterns>

 

this will work on secl,prml and wrnl.

you dont have to have both lstg2 and 3 changed, you can have one set to true and the other to false if you wanted.

els's configs and trainer's configs are separate so saving the car would only save stuff like vehicle mods, paints extras etc but not els patterns.
