ELS Lights Not Proper Colors

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I recently installed a graphics enhancement mod, NaturalVision Remastered, and ever since, the light colors on ELS vehicles is terribly off. Red becomes orange-ish and blue becomes light, light blue. I'm not exactly sure what's causing the issue or how to fix it, so some help would be appreciated. Also, all my settings are on very high/ultra.

Hi there,

Do the lights still look bright, or have they dimmed?

Lights are fine on brightness, the graphics mod has an addon for brighter ELS lights, which works fine. My only current issue is the weird looking colors. I can provide screenshots if that'll help.

Now noticing its only the lights behind glass, such as the lightbar, rear bar, and the inner bars that have the coloring issue. Still odd, but anyhow here's the screenshots.

The weird colors is a result of the lights not being that bright.  If you increase the brightness it should be fine.

What's the easiest way to go about making them brighter?

Open OpenIV and go to mods \ update \ update \ common \ data.  Extract "visualsettings.dat" to your desktop and open it.

Find the following "car.defaultlight.emissive.on", there will be a day and night option.  For day, change it to 6000.00.  For night, change to 1500.00, then save.

Now, in OpenIV, click "edit mode" and drag the edited visualsettings.dat back to where you got it from.  Click "edit mode" again and you can close OpenIV and go in game.

Hey! I know this is an old post. But this made my ELS lights soooo much better!

Only problem is that is made the taxi light (the big light box on the roof) brighter than the sun :D

Ive been trying to adjust the numbers on the  "car.defaultlight.emissive.on". But with no luck :)

Have any of you guys had this problem??
